The house is perfectly situated, with the red rocks towering in the background. The home was stocked very well, and spotlessly clean and the jacuzzi was a welcome addition after a long day of hiking.
Some friends and I traveled in from both the east and west coasts to meet in Sedona. We have never stayed at Copper Star before, but certainly would in the future, and would recommend it to any travel group; families with younger or older kids, romantic weekend aways, girls' or guys' weekends, whatever occasion you want to get away for. This house can handle it all.
The location was fantastic. We were able to easily walk into town for dinners, shopping, etc. Older children would love the autonomy of being able to walk into town and shop, grab a bite to eat, get an ice cream, and really whatever else they wanted. Younger families can access the books, games, DVDs, and hot tub provided at Copper Star.
Now, specifically to write about Copper Star. I have stayed at MANY VRBOs in the past and I can say this was the cleanest and most thoughtful VRBO I have ever stayed in. Every corner of the house was spotlessly maintained and clean. The kitchen was very well-appointed. The common spaces were very spacious and comfortable. The hot tub was impeccably maintained. If you needed something it was there for you; snacks, coffee, even water jugs to bring with you on a hike.
One touch that we found very sweet was blank journals in the bedside tables of each room so you could write down a thought in the middle of the night. Along those same lines, we marveled at the organization of the "junk" drawer, down to the fact that the pencil was perfectly sharpened and the eraser was perfectly clean. As you can tell, my friends and I are very particular, and this house met every expectation and more.
The outdoor space at Copper Star certainly did not disappoint. There was space outside of the primary bedroom for a couple to share a cup of coffee or wine, a larger dining space, and an outdoor living room...oh and did I mention the hot tub? There is a very nice hot tub in the yard as well. The landscaping is beautiful and you have great views of the mountains from both the family room and the backyard.
If you can't tell already by this glowing review, I will make it simple. I would recommend this home to anyone and would go back any time and my friends agreed. Five out of five stars from my group.
Our stay was so incredible. The home was in the perfect location and the backyard was a dreamland. We had everything and more that we needed for our stay.
Honestly, the best vacation rental I’ve ever stayed in! The interior of the home was SUPER clean and well stocked. The home was stocked with items we would have never expected like snacks, laundry stain remover, plenty of towels/hot tub towels, robes, a dog crate, the automated lights, and my favorite … Alexa in every room. I live by my Alexa at home so it was like being in my own home. The view and the hot tub were the icing on the cake. The home is within walking distance of downtown shops, restaurants, etc. The backyard is fenced so I felt comfortable letting our pet explore. This is a super-pet-friendly home … you would never even know that other pets have ever been in this home it’s so clean and pristine. We would 100% recommend this home to anyone visiting Sedona!!
Oh my did we have a fabulous trip to Sedona! Copper Star was beautiful and well beyond our expectations! It was far better than any other rental property we have stayed in through the years. The owners sure know how to pamper you with deluxe sheets, towels, a very well-stocked kitchen, condiments in the fridge, and even bath robes! The Christmas trees and beautiful garland above the fireplace were a nice touch and made the very comfortable home even cozier. We booked the property based on it being pet friendly, the majestic views, fenced-in backyard, and the hot tub which we all enjoyed. We walked uptown to the shops and to a hiking trail, The location was excellent. Everything was beyond our expectations. Your well-stocked library was very impressive too. We will definitely recommend and return when we visit Sedona again. We can’t thank you enough for making our stay so special.

We had an amazing eight days at Copper Star! It was exactly what the reviews promise! The furnishings were comfortable and of high quality. Everything you would need or want is provided! The shaded deck and backyard were even more beautiful in person with breathtaking views all around! The property was impeccably clean and Red Rock Realty was very responsive to any questions we had!! Our only regret was not being able to stay longer!! We look forward to returning for a longer visit!!
This is an excellent property. Striking views from the private deck, well-appointed, great kitchen, hot tub, and comfy beds. This place has it all. And only a few minutes' walk to the restaurants and shops in uptown Sedona. This will be our go-to place to stay when in Sedona.

This house was one of the best VRBO properties I've ever stayed in! The house was decorated for Christmas and in each closet were two robes to use during our stay! We enjoyed the views of the hot tub every morning. The attention to detail was apparent all through the house. From Alexa in every room to masks and sanitizer at the door. This property was outstanding! We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!
We had an amazing time in Sedona. The weather outside didn’t cooperate so much so we really took advantage of the hot tub! The house is so much nicer and bigger than the pictures. Beds were very comfortable. Great location. We walked to the shops and restaurants. There is also a trailhead less than a mile which we walked to multiple times for hiking. Fully stocked kitchen. No complaints. There were even two Christmas trees set up. Would love to come back. Just book it already!
Just wanted to say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cooper Star. The home is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL...The pictures on the website do not depict its real beauty. The house was immaculate and fully stocked with everything we could have imagined. The home is located in a very nice, quiet, well-maintained community and close to everything from the grocery store to several coffee shops and restaurants. We will definitely be visiting Sedona and staying here again.

We spent a week in this great home with a hot tub! (They had Robes such a treat!) We are a family of 6 adults and there was plenty of room to spend together and to distance from each other as well. Ha Ha. The yard is enormous. We really enjoyed staying here. The kitchen is fully equipped as well. We needed for nothing. The beds were comfy as well!
We will for sure plan to visit this home again.

This house has everything and more for a comfortable stay in Sedona. We just bought a few groceries and didn't need anything else. The deck is a perfect spot for morning coffee with a spectacular view. The living room was more than spacious for evening relaxation after hiking and ATV adventures! It's just a short walk into town for some good restaurants and Sedona Brewery. Loved our stay!!
Our family had a fantastic stay at Copper Star. My two teen boys loved having their own rooms and all the high-tech offerings of the house while my husband and I had a huge master suite with access to the patio to enjoy. Everything was spotless and the house had everything we needed (except shampoo as an FYI). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well outfitted. The laundry machines worked great and were so useful. The guys had hiked RIm-to-Rim at the Grand Canyon the day before we arrived so were particularly grateful to have the nice hot tub to use. But I would say the best thing about the property is the location with its amazing seating areas to enjoy the views from the backyard. We would stay at Copper Star again without hesitation and only wish we could have stayed longer on this visit. We also highly recommend enjoying dinner at Elote for the incredible food and Mariposa for the stunning views. Pink Jeep Tours is found just down the road and was a great excursion for the whole family. The location of the home made everything in the area convenient while also providing us with a quiet and residential area to enjoy with the family. We recommend staying here especially as a perfect place for a family.
We took a short trip from the Phoenix area to Sedona and stayed at Copper Star. Everything, (really everything), was amazing! The property has been tastefully updated and we found it very comfortable with all the amenities we wanted. The outdoor space is fenced and private, so it’s great for relaxing and enjoying the great views. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep. We grilled outside every evening and dined indoors and out. The Copper Star has it all!
We have rented dozens of places all over the world and this house is in the top 5. Great location, spotlessly clean, everything you could possibly need, and views from the enormous backyard that are without equal. The best equipped and most beautifully organized kitchen, great selection of books - the place feels like a real home. They even have amenities for your dog. We could not have been happier.
House was just as described. Excellent location for walking uptown, or to take the car to other areas of Sedona. House was furnished with literally EVERYTHING one needs to feel at home. The outdoor area was beautiful and quiet with excellent views of red rocks. We highly recommend this house.
The house was absolutely fantastic! This place is a full 5 stars. We took a long weekend getaway with friends and had a wonderful time. The house is fully stocked with everything you can possibly need in a vacation rental both inside and out. The views are amazing and the peaceful tranquility you feel at the home is second to none. We will definitely stay again during our next trip to Sedona.
We stayed at Copper Star for 2 weeks. The home was lovely and very well equipped. It was walking distance to uptown Sedona while offering beautiful views of the red rock mountains. The backyard was a garden with a large deck for outdoor dining, a hot tub for six, and a grill. We enjoyed using "Alexa" to turn on and off lights and to play music.

We can’t say enough good things about Copper Star! The location is perfect with easy access to lots of hiking trails and restaurants while also being amazingly quiet and private. There are beautiful red rock views from the house and the yard, we found ourselves spending every afternoon on the deck, just watching the light change on those magnificent mountains. The house was immaculate, among the cleanest vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. The kitchen is extremely well-appointed with everything you need to cook beautiful meals if you wish. The bedrooms were very comfortable and add in the tranquility and you have a great recipe for sleep.
We spent two wonderful weeks at Copper Star. The home exceeded our expectations. It was well equipped with everything you would have in your kitchen at home as well as books, DVDs, games and toys for kids, Alexa to turn on and off lights and play music, a hot tub, Corn hole, walking sticks, etc. The house is located within walking distance to shops and restaurants in Uptown Sedona. The backyard was so relaxing with an English garden theme, outdoor dining, a grill, and beautiful views of the red rock mountains. The family room was so large and comfy. There was even a manual with instructions on how to work almost everything and light switches were all labeled. My husband and I spent part of our days there alone and enjoyed family visiting for the rest of the time.
Copper Star is the best vacation rental we've experienced and we highly recommend it.
The property was unbelievable, just as described. I’ve never been to a home more fully stocked for everything that we might need. In addition, the house is in a great location, and we were able to walk to restaurants as well as do some of the hiking trails.
I strongly recommend staying here if you get the opportunity.
My husband, dog and I spent a long weekend at Copper Star and could not have been happier! We've stayed in numerous rental homes and they almost always feel like high-traffic rental homes (secondhand furnishings, old TVs, dents/dings, sparsely equipped, etc.) that is not the case with this house! It has absolutely everything you will need; it is well cared for and spotlessly clean. The deck is so peaceful and relaxing and offers fantastic views. Our dog loved playing in the yard (she left a tennis ball under the deck for a future guest!). The house is close enough to walk to multiple shops, bars and restaurants but is in a quiet neighborhood, we didn’t hear a sound from the neighbors all weekend. We are already planning our next trip to Sedona and plan to stay at this property.

We really enjoyed our stay and the home was spectacular in so many ways. It was great to be able to enjoy the views of the red rocks right from the house and still be able to walk out the door and enjoy the town and surrounding neighborhood. We have rented homes in different places for many years for vacation, and we found that this home was especially well-appointed. It was so nice and clean and beautifully decorated, and such a great layout of the house and yard for great family times together. We are really enjoyed playing cornhole in the back yard, it was so nice that it was there for us as well as the great library of books. The dogs certainly were very happy in the yard and we were able to take them on some great walks in the AM before it got too hot.
This property was amazing. We can't wait to go back next summer it is everything we wanted and more. Very spacious for a family of four. The location was awesome. The kids skateboarded around the neighborhood and there was an awesome park only about four or five miles away.
This is only our third VRBO rental but by far our favorite. I highly recommend this home.
Copper Star is beautifully furnished with every amenity you can ask for. The kitchen is well equipped if you love to cook, and the grounds have several English garden themes. We felt at home the entire stay and our fur baby Belle loved being able to come with us. A definite 10!
Copper Star was outstanding! Everything about it was perfect: the location, the amenities, the size, the upkeep and private backyard. My goodness, the owners even had Riedel wine glasses. It is very obvious that the owners want to make your vacation the best ever. I would highly recommend Copper Star. Also, I want to make a shout out to Red Rock Realty. What a wonderful place to escape the Minnesota "spring"!
Copper Star is situated perfectly to present stunning red rock views. It is comfortably furnished, and, unlike so many vacation rentals, is fully, and nicely equipped for a lengthy stay. A great example of how well equipped it is is that a full set of Wusthof knives is provided - not the dull thrift store knives that are more typical.
The house is spacious and capable of sleeping a good sized family - including dogs. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the warmth of the Copper Star.
The home was created with incredible attention to detail, beautiful finishes, perfectly placed window with up and down shades that allow privacy while still providing an amazing view of the Red Rocks from nearly every angle. The house is elegantly decorated with leather furniture, beautiful hardwoods and ceramic tiles. Thge kitchen is excellent with granite counter-tops and high end cabinetry. All of the necessary appliances and cookery are present. Most appreciated is the fine stemware for enjoying wine or other beverages one might like and not to forget the frozen mugs/glasses in freezer just perfect for some of Sedona's own Oak Creek Amber Ale or the beer of your choice.
Outside the house the yard is large and fully fenced for your fur baby. Lovely landscaping with mature vegetation adds to the outside dining experience and provides nearly complete privacy.
The owners of this property take great pride in their home and it shows!!!
Short 4 minute walk to town so you don't have fight parking and trails (Jordan, Cibola Pass, Brins Mesa and Jim Thomson) are only 10 minutes away by foot or 2 minutes by car.
Entertainment is all top of the line with Alexa and fully integrated Smart large screen, not that you come to Sedona to watch TV, but if you like music and movies you will have complete access to all the internet has to offer. We are already in the process of booking again for next year!
My visit to the Sedona was absolutely AMAZING! Not only is the area beautiful and very scenic, but the Copper Star property is positively incredible. The location was perfect, I got to experience all of the beauty and luxuries that Sedona has to offer. It was one of the BEST getaways I have ever had and I travel pretty often. Copper Star had every possible comfort, luxury and convenience that I could have thought of and several more that I was so pleasantly surprised to discover. It seems that the owners anticipated everything that someone may want and need to have a memorable stay.
I'd also like to give special kudos to the staff at Red Rock Realty! They were professional, courteous and a pleasure to do business with. If you're thinking about a trip to Sedona, Red Rock Realty is the way to go! I'm telling all of my friends about them!
Copper Star is a gem. We arrived on December 23 after dark. Imagine our delight when we opened the front door and were greeted with a beautiful home decked out for Christmas!
The house has everything a family could possibly want in a home away from home. Every kitchen item imaginable. Great games, hiking poles, and Alexa to keep us entertained!
The house was perfect for a family of four. The neighborhood was quiet and views spectacular. The decor of the home is very tasteful. The beds were really comfortable and there were even spa bathrobes in the closets.
A high-quality home we will return to another year.

This house is first-class all the way! From the luxury linens and towels, state-of- the-art TV system, soft leather furniture, it is well done! When you add the tremendous views of the red rocks through the very large windows at the back of the house, it is beautiful! In the evening, the red rocks just glowed in the setting sun. Soaking in the hot tub with a nice glass a wine and that beautiful view was amazing! We loved the location of the house. It was close to the center of town but was in a very quiet neighborhood. With the enclosed well landscaped backyard, we felt like we were the only ones around. We loved the Sedona area and hope to be back again soon.
